Celebrate the season at the 23rd Annual Light Up Lakewood Holiday Festival + Tree Lighting! Join us on Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 6:00–9:00 PM at Lakewood Shopping Center for a festive evening of holiday lights, live music, photos with Santa, and family-friendly fun.

Enjoy the tree lighting ceremony at Harrell Park (7:45pm), shop an artisan gift market with local makers, explore local business booths, and watch performances from the Woodrow Wilson High School choir and band. Kids will love the special activities and photos with Santa. Enjoy food and drinks from onsite restaurants and even meet adoptable pets from Dallas Animal Shelter.

The 22nd annual Light Up Lakewood is the Lakewood neighborhood’s annual tree lighting and holiday festival.

You're invited to a FREE community Fitness & Health Festival at Lakewood Shopping Center on Saturday, November 16th from 9am to 2pm!

The event will feature outdoor fitness classes from Orangetheory Fitness, Hotworx, and Club Pilates, food + drink tastings, booths featuring Lakewood businesses, walking + running groups, giveways + swag, and more! (RSVP is required for the fitness classes, as space is limited).

RSVP for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Sweetgreen.

The 17th annual Light Up Lakewood is a neighborhood celebration of the Holidays, featuring a tree lighting, local craft vendors curated by Decent, pop-ups from nearby shops and restaurants, live music, a festive photo booth with Santa, and plenty of holiday decor.

This was one of our first major festivals, where we transformed a vacant, ugly parking lot into a vibrant showcase of local artists and musicians for a weekend. More than 3,000 people visited, and it was a huge success.
